SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Hours: Flexible Hours

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of web content, including wording and graphics

• Assist in the maintaining of the MSCG's web content to ensure that it is up to date and accurate, contacting the appropriate people to effect any necessary changes

• Stay current on topics important to the organization’s work in order to share new information with the MSCG community

• Attend events to gather information and take photos or videos to share with the social media community

• Help create content for MSCG social media platforms

 

Qualifications:

• Finished High School

• Currently enrolled in full time post secondary education, in Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Communications, Fundraising or Film Studies is an asset

• Knowledge of non-profit culture is preferred

• Customer relations focused and personable

• Excellent communication skills
