RESEARCH & GRANT PROPOSAL WRITING
Hours: Monday-Wednesday office Hours, flexible schedule. Can be discussed during interview
Responsibilities:
• Research and writing for proposals and grant applications
• Scout new opportunities and projects that align with organization’s objectives
• Attend information sessions and expression of interest meetings to understand each project/grant’s purpose
• Have a clear understanding of each proposal we are involved in and our part in it
• Attend meetings with board members to discuss upcoming project opportunities
Qualifications:
• Completion of High School
• Currently enrolled or completed post-secondary education
• Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Professional image and approach
• Knowledge of non-profit culture is preferred
